Uniform

Uniform

We are proud of our school and how well we present to the community we live in. It is for this reason that we are very keen for all children to wear school uniform. All uniform can be ordered from: The School Uniform Shop in Hereford, My Clothing (Tesco) online.

Charcoal grey - trousers  (not jeans) – school grey
Skirt or pinafore – school grey

Charcoal grey shorts / culottes
School branded polo shirt - navy
School branded sweatshirt – Royal blue
White or grey socks/grey tights
Blue and white summer dress

Shoes

All children are expected to wear appropriate footwear. Black shoes are considered to be suitable for normal school wear. Trainers and plimsolls are not appropriate for everyday wear.

All children are expected to come into school in their PE kit on their timetabled PE day each week. We will let you know of this in advance. The same applies to any tournaments or Sports Days.

P.E. kit should consist of:

School branded or plain PE polo shirt - yellow

School branded or plain sweatshirt - navy

Navy shorts

Trainers (not pumps)

Navy joggers

All PE clothing should be appropriate to the activity. Bermuda or baggy shorts are not appropriate for swimming nor are loose fitting or oversized T-shirts. Children wearing items of clothing considered to be inappropriate or dangerous will not be allowed to take part in PE lessons and parents will be informed that this has happened.

Optional uniform items include:

Fleece-lined school coat - blue

Book bag - blue

Sun hat - blue

There is no expectation that children have any of these, but they are available to purchase if you so wish. However, all children will need a suitable bag or backpack, waterproof coat and sun hat. In warm weather, children will also need to wear sun cream to school.

With regards to school uniform, unfortunately we cannot be responsible for the clothing of every child in school. We try to encourage our children to be as independent as possible, taking responsibility for themselves and their possessions.

In order that we can return lost items of clothing, please ensure that you have labelled all items of your child’s uniform.
